The system utilizes our Voyager viewing system which will be specifically configured for you. No specialist viewing software or viewing/user licenses are required and the system is web enabled which will allow you to host it securely over your local internet. It contains the following high level functionality:
Standard Functionality
Navigation Menu
The navigation menu will be structured in line with the document types converted, and is upgradeable for future use to include additional data.
Search Facility
A full search facility will be provided that will search all text based data, where the file conversion format supports OCR (optical character recognition).
Print Facility
All information contained within the application will be printable.
Export Facility
To enable files to be saved in a format that can be electronically transmitted
Help Facility
A Microsoft compliant help facility will be provided to assist users.
Uploading Data
Additional files or edited files may be up loaded into the application. The menu system mirrors the data folder structure. Additional files that are added to the folder structure automatically appear in the menu structure.
Corporate Branding
Corporate branding based on graphic files you provide is available in the following areas:
- Top horizontal section of the application window
- The main start-up page
Operating Specification
The voyager application is certified on Microsoft Windows operating systems running Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and above. Additional freely available pdf and or tiff pluggins (which we can supply) will be required to view the source data.
Hosting
It can be hosted on your internal server or supplied on CD or DVD subject to file sizes permitting. Should the Voyager application be hosted on your own severs, Which we would recommend utilising an (IIS) Internet Information Services microsoft compliant web server.
